Duties include but would not be limited to:

  • Training Coordinator schedules required site specific training for all employees entering a client worksite.
  • Training Coordinator sends out appropriate pre-course information to participants, if required.
  • Training Coordinator is responsible for maintaining external training records and keeping records up to date.
  • Training Coordinator is responsible for scheduling employees for site specific drug screens, background. check and required training to ensure access to refineries/plants and worksites.
  • Training Coordinator is responsible to research necessary safety councils for new project training or site access.
  • Training Coordinator is responsible to communicate with badging offices of employees entering site and maintaining deactivation of badges, if necessary or joint ownership with Project Managers.
  • Training Coordinator is responsible for site specific document management within online scheduling vendor and uploading necessary information into the Mammoet Academy system.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Training & Academy Manager.

Education & Experience

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have experience with registering training courses (client site specifics) with Safety Councils.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administrator or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of HR or Training or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Excel 2013, Word 2013 and PowerPoint 2013.
  • Experience with SAP plus
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual an asset (English/French)

About our region

This position is a Full-time position based out of the Guelph Branch, working Monday throught Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Travel is minimum between Provinces.
