Teamlead ICT Service Desk


Job description

We are currently looking for a service minded teamlead to guide the team through the challenges we are facing. As a business we are transitioning towards windows 10, implementing a new ERP System and if that is not enough, we are preparing ourselves for a merger. During these changes, you and your team will be the anchor point for all our employees with regards to ICT related questions.

You will be managing a team of 3-4 service desk agents as well as 3-4 technical support staff in the EMEA region. We have support teams in the APAC and the Americas regions as well. Using the follow the sun principle, we can deliver 24 hours support on a global scale to all our employees.

Your service desk team in general consists of (junior) temps that are rotated regularly into other roles in the ICT team. As a result your major challenge is keeping a balanced team with the right skillset while continuously training and integrating new temps.

Purpose of the job

Mammoet is in the process off reshaping its current ICT landscape to realize a better fit to business needs. For this purpose Mammoet has initiated the Reshape ERP programme that aims for a new ERP environment for Mammoet. The vacant position is directly related to this context; You will have a clear focus and will directly support the Reshape ERP programme to achieve set targets.

Your main results focus at

  • Teamleadership: set the standard and be exemplary in how you want your team to behave towards our employees, this includes work together with HR in recruitment, training and development.
  • ICT Support: Provide support, service and solutions to the business according to service level agreements
  • Continous improvement: innovate, change and improve our processes and procedures

And off course, next to this there are the housekeeping tasks like reporting and administration

Key Skills

  • ICT Service Management, advanced understanding
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • People management
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree, preferrably in ICT
  • Deep understanding of ITIL/ISM, prefereably certified
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within ICT
