Sales Manager - Japan

Job description

This position offers the opportunity to work with our international team in other regions to provide solution and proposal for our clients in Japan. Mammoet is the largest Heavy Lift and Heavy Transport company in the world, while our client are international EPC contractors for Oil & Gas, Power, Off-shore Wind, Civil and Infrastructure and related heavy industries in Japan.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Develop business relationship and opportunities with Japanese clients those execute construction heavy lift or transportation work for oversea/domestic project
  • Providing consultation of Heavy Lifting or transportation to client for his feasibility study or planning of the project
  • Plan and coordinate with regional offices for technical and commercial proposal to Japanese client
  • Support clarification of proposal internally and with client in their office
  • Support operation at oversea/domestic project site of Japanese client for smooth start-up and troubleshooting (after sales follow-up)
  • Organize client visit for senior management staff from head office and regional head office for business development

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in EPC or related heavy industries of lifting and transportation
  • Working knowledge and experienced at oversea project, preferably at construction site
  • Bachelor degree of mechanical or civil engineering is preferred but not mandatory
  • Comfortable with communication both in English and Japanese

Successful candidate will require strong organizational and communications skill to effectively coordinate with internal and external organization with technical background of industries, committed to deliver successfully the relationship and results to client and Mammoet.
