Project Controller

1. Project Control
Analyse project financial related processes, identify potential financial risk areas in line with financial -and risk management guidelines and legislation.
2. Contract Management
Assess and study the agreed contract of both customers and sub-contracters.
3. Planning
Ensure effective use of the systems for financial project planning -and control in line with the project forecast and budget.
4. Budgeting
Monitor and (co)prepare project budgets as well as analyse and advise on discrepancies between actuals versus budgets.
5. Reporting
Prepare, compose and analyse periodical quantitative (statutory) reports regarding balance sheet, cash flow by using defined standards and procedures.
6. Administration
Coordinate, execute, maintain and-or improve administrative activities and systems, in line with internal requirements.
7. People Management (variance)
Manage a team of administrators by coordinating the workload, sharing knowledge and supporting the team.

Functionally reports to Finance Manager

The Project Controller will be responsible for providing financial services on projects by means of contract-and risk management, financial planning, forecasting, controlling and reporting; to ensure the projects are controlled in harmony with applicable standards, procedures and legislation of the region, in order to support Project Management.

• Contribution to the provision of proper insights into critical financial areas of the project and contribution to risk minimalisation.
• Deep understanding of the contract and critical risk awareness from project kick-off to close out.
• Insights into planning and control of activities to support realisation of project objectives.
• Insights into budget and forecast realisation and possibilities for corrective steering.
• Project management provided with proper and timely insights of the financial position and performance of the respective project.
• Project administration and financial data is correct, accessible and always up-to-date.
• Team is engaged and capable of meeting expectations.
