IT Specialist ( Service Desk)

Job description

Responsible for providing first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues, escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support and follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see issues through to resolution.

  • Responsible to do end user IT help-desk support
  • Provide 2nd level end-user support cascaded by IT Service Desk
  • Providing technical analysis and assistance to resolve desktop/laptop/printer/server, and application problems.
  • Support on network related and server system issues.
  • Taking ownership for incidents and service request that are being escalated by updating, follow up and resolving the tickets within agreed SLA time-line.
  • Conduct periodic system maintenance activities to ensure IT service continuity
  • Perform daily, weekly or monthly reporting including adhoc.

ICT Manager

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Customer service orientation

Education & Experience

  • Min Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of infrastructure and service support
  • Experience in supporting Activate Directory Domain, Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Anti-virus software
  • Team player and able to work with minimal supervison
