HR Shared Services Manager

Job description

Responsible for the realisation and implementation of the Global and Regional HR Strategy and policies, through leading the HR Shared Service function, providing professional HR guidance, support, and maintaining the infrastructure, systems and processes in line with company standards and legislations, ensuring a unified way of delivering. This is a broad HR role, focusing on operational excellence in the delivery of HR solutions, partnering with country HR team and other functional team as well as playing a role within the broader HR regional team. The role is also responsible for continuous process improvements and be part of key HR projects to support the further development of the Shared Services HR function.

  • Lead HR Service through operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data managed and maintained. Such robust data management shall use to provide valuable insights to key partners that will lead to the creation of focus areas and strategies
  • Lead regional payroll and statutory processing, to maintain compliance to legal, fiscal and regulatory requirement. This includes any of form of remunerations, statutory contributions, fund release to statutory bodies, tax reporting and clearances, payment to vendors and employees.
  • Lead the personnel costs management and forecast initiatives
  • Partner to align peers and team-mates across geographies in APAC on core and common ways of working, process improvements and initiatives.
  • Partner cross functional to address operational requirements and compliance
  • Define, assess and ensure the delivery of a comprehensive set of performance metrics
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes and practices
  • Ensure compliance to all audits, certification, HR policy and Employee Handbooks

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resource or others related fields.
  • 10 years in Human Resource Management, with at least 5 years HR shared services management environment
  • Track records of experience in developing and executing successful operations and strategies in an HR Shared Service set-up.
  • Extensive knowledge working with case management and HRIS, especially on SAP and Workday
  • IT and system savy. Exposure to use technologies in provision of HR services is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively by creating collaborative relationship, establishing credibility and influencing others
  • Deep operational experience is essential with previous exposure to rapidly scaling businesses and HR functions is an advantage.
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving capabilities to lead fact-based decision making and solutioning
  • Knowledge of supporting multiple HR fields (compensation, benefits, talent development and HRIS)
