Business Developer - APAC

Job description

Responsible for realization and implementation of the global and regional marketing and sales strategies, through leading the Sales function, providing professional guidance, support, and expertise in line with company standards. This is a broad Sales Manager role, focusing on identifying business opportunities using market intelligence, partnering with external & internal stakeholders, delivering end to end solution starting from order finalization and till handing over to the operations team. The role is also responsible for continuous process improvement, providing customized engineering solutions to clients and customers by understanding project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee & develop the business development & marketing strategies for the Asia Pacific region from Singapore
  • Identify relevant business opportunities through market intelligence
  • Partner with existing and prospective clients to enhance the business relationship regularly
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for business development, offer consultancy service for heavy lifting and transportation tasks of the project
  • Review techno-commercial proposals and conditions by engaging different stakeholders across the organization
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with stakeholders to properly protect the interest of both parties Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments utilizing periodical and ad-hoc reports and analysis.

Education & Experience

Must Have

  • Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years relevant work experience as Business Developer
  • Relevant experience in managing key accounts in South-East Asia markets
  • Experience & Knowledge in solution-based business development for existing or prospective customers.
  • Excellent business negotiation and presentation skills

Good to Have

  • Experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas & Infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work effectively by creating a collaborative relationship, establishing credibility, and influencing others
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, driven, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
