Academy Coordinator


Job description

The Academy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Mammoet Academy activities and delivery of training programs in line with the Mammoet Academy standard, local requirements, facilitating the respective business to enhance the quality and safety to achieve the goals with an effectively trained workforce.
Essential Functions

• Researches, plans and coordinates training programs (internal & external), seminars and conferences for clerical, supervisory, technical and lower-level management personnel.
• Define, plan, manage and co-ordinate assigned (portfolio of) training programs and ensure execution and delivery, in line with relevant internal and external standards.
• Writes initial draft material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes.
• Communicates with Line Managers and Branch Managers:
1. KPIs (compliance and gap analysis)
2. Follow-up on deliverables
3. Advise on training needs
• Schedules the appropriate classroom and prepares the physical setup, including any audiovisual equipment.
1. Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms and visual aids.
2. Determines what kind requisition it concerns, nominate a Trainer, external party and a time frame (planning) for the training requirements at hand.
• Procurement of training business deliverables within the best price-quality ratio possible.
1. Ensures proper cost is captured and communicated to Managers
• Coordinate, execute, maintain and-or improve administrative activities and systems, in line with internal requirements.
• Organize, manage and control the activities of Mammoet Academy team in line with relevant policies.
• Additional duties assigned by Academy Manager.

Purpose of the job

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Minimum travel may be required.

Key Result Areas

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment or remote/home office.

Education & Experience

1. 3-5 years of related experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
3. 3-5 years of HR or Training, or equivalent experience.
4. Proficient with Microsoft (Teams, Excel 2013, Word 2013 and PowerPoint 2013)
